About

This Blog: The Science of Adaptation contains my thoughts about the BBC Series Sherlock, focussing on how it relates to canon. Occasionally it also addresses other adaptations of Sherlock Holmes.

Swanpride: I have been active in different Fandoms since 2005, using nearly always the same user name. In short, if you encounter this nick on the net, it is very likely that it is me. But you can find me for sure

at FF.net
at Fanpop
at Livejournal
and naturally here at wordpress, where I write three blogs, this one, Honoring the Heroines and Movies and Lyrics.

I started The Science of Adaptation because I love Sherlock, especially the way it tackles canon from a new angle. And because I had a long list of canon references which I wanted to share with other fans. I love to hear the thoughts of my readers, so if you have criticism, suggestions, information you want to share, don’t be afraid to drop me a note.

Thank you….did the award spread from the animation blogs to blog ins general already? I already got it for my main blog, Honoring the Heroines, but I’ll certainly answer your questions too, as soon as I have sufficient time.
